Nyambung Wifi

scan kekuatan sinyal wifi:
# ifconfig wlan0
# iwlist scan
dari hasil perintah tersebut, kita tahu kekuatan sinyal

koneksi menggunakan wpa atau tidak? disini diasumsikan menggunakan wpa.
# wpa_passprase "NAMA JARINGAN" passwd > /etc/conf.wireless

# wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -c /etc/conf.wireless &> /dev/null &

cek status koneksi dengan
# iwconfig

bila sudah terkoneksi, dapatkan IP dengan DHCP karena umumnya Akses point wireless menyediakan DHCP.

# dhclient wlan0

cek nilai IP,
# ifconfig wlan0

cek DNS, dan gateway, sesuai kah dengan yg terdapat pada laptop teman anda?

# cat /etc/resolv.conf
# route -n

7z

7z adalah sebuah program untuk pengompressan file.

Mengompres suatu file :

7z a -t7z xxx.7z oke.odt

maksudnya bahwa akan dibuat kompresan dengan type 7z (-t7z), dari file oke.odt. xxx.7z merupakan nama file hasil kompresan. "7z a" merupakan perintah untuk mengompres.

7z a -tzip xxx.zip oke.odt

maksudnya akan dibuat kompresan dengan type zip (-tzip) dari file oke.odt. xxx.zip merupakan namafile hasil kompresan.

Mengekstrak suatu kompresan :

7z e xxx.7z

merupakan perintah untuk mengekstrak.

7z e -o/media/oke/oke xxx.7z

"-o/media/oke/oke" menempatkan hasil ekstrakkan di /media/oke/oke.

7z e xxx.7z -y

"-y" segala sesuatu query akan dijawab yes.

Eclipse

Eclipse adalah sebuah IDE, integreted development environment. Digunakan untuk melakukan proses pembangunan suatu aplikasi. Untuk menjalankankannya dibutuhkan JDK atau JRE, tergantung eclipse apa yang mau digunakan. Jadi sebelum menjalankan eclipse terlebih dahulu harus menginstall JDK atau JRE. Kenapa??? Karena eclipse dibuat dengan bahasa pemrogramman java.

Untuk menjalankan eclipse, tidak perlu repot-repot install kayak biasanya, cukup download, ekstrak dan jalankan. Tapi sebelum menjalankannya baca dulu dokumentasinya karena ada beberpa yang perlu diketahui ketika menjalankan. COntoh menentukan path dimana JDK diinstall.

Nelphon Lewat GMAIL

bismillah
beberapa waktu yang lalu saya googling di internet guna mencari bahan buat tugasku, tak sengaja aku menemukkan hal yang menarik, yakni nelpon lewat gmail. "Ternyata bisa to nelpon lewat gmail, asik nih bisa nelpon gratis", pikirku. setelah baca lebih lanjut ternyata tidak gratis, yang gratis cuma ke amrik dan canada. huh, saya kira gratis! Terus njur piye cara telpon.....! aku dewe yo bingung!
Setelah buka gmail dan loggin lalu cari sana-cari sini, alhirnya nemu juga caranya nelpon lewat gmail. setelah dipikir-pikir mau nelpon siapa jadi bingung karena nelpon gratis hanya ke amerika dan canada, aku tak punya teman di amrik dan canada! akhirnya cuma aku buka thok, tanpa bisa nelpon ya karena tidak ada yang mau di telpon! mau nelpon ke nomor indonesia bayar! untuk saat ini cuma buka dulu, nanti pas ada uaang dan kesempatan bisa dicoba!
